I drink from your red lips
And you drink from mine
Love’s sweet nectar 
And elixir of life,
Love the sustaining 
Force of the universe
That makes all life possible
And dissolves thoughts
Of mortality into 
Forgetfulness.

When I hold you gently in my arms 
And taste a kiss from your ruby lips,
The fear of death is dispelled 
And I feel like a deathless god,
And I hold you in my arms 
And make this moment last,
Because we will never be here again
And it is these moments of love 
That will sustain us till our dying days.
