I open my mind; we share our thoughts.  I open my mouth; we share our words. I open my heart; we share our human feelings of life.  I open my soul: here I am in the dynamic of becoming.  Before me is who you are, metamorphic in the mystic flow. Mystery between us in the unconscious; outwardly unfolding, we envision together. I and Thou.

thou001_400The dream of freedom is as old as human time.  Freedom from want and fear.  Freedom from hurt and woe.  Freedom to become the “who” of being we each and everyone are endowed with power to become.  Freedom from and freedom for.  Not to be denigrated or to denigrate.  Not to be violated and not to violate.  Freedom as a form of social contract; freedom as a norm.

The dream of peace is as old as human sorrow.  We are Earth-walkers from horizon to horizon; from primal caverns to skyward summits.  We who are dreamers are called to awaken.  We who are lights against whirlwind and deception are called to be peacemakers: to make the dream of peace come true.

I open myself—I am immersed in presence.  Life is living around me.  Why should I recover from creation?  So long as heart beats and I breathe, I gather and remember.  Opening my eyes, this is you before me: a seeing person stands in being seen.

The dream of enlightenment does not come down to us.  The dream is given while dream-maker remains hidden!  Enlightenment becomes existentiated between us.  Out of the soil of decency, dialogue emerges.  I and Thou.  Much depends now on how we nurture ourselves and engage one another.
